Vintage Aviation Graduation

Hello? It's Chatter Phone!

One of my favorite things is being able to design something and have all the creative power up to me. So when Saoirse's mama asked me to design some birthday invitations, inspired by vintage toys, I was pumped. I adore anything vintage, especially kids toys - they just don't make 'em like they used to!

While I was brainstorming what to design, Beckett and I were playing with his beloved chatter phone and then BAM - it hit me! The bright colors and fun demeanor of the silly little chatter phone were perfect for a 1st birthday. I drew up the little guy and hand drew the big font as well, for a playful invite that is as cute as the birthday girl herself!

Sass-Quatch Party: The Invitations

 

I'm excited to share the party invitations I made for Beckett's 2nd birthday party a couple weeks ago. I loved the idea of a "Sass-Quatch" themed party, because little Beckett is quite the sassy boy, and often could probably be mistaken for a wild beast with the temper tantrums he throws. I also wanted to come up with a party theme that I hadn't seen before!

So anyways, I was really excited to make these invites, naturally. I went all out and created a "field guide" type pamphlet that contained all the party info (along with some fun text), and was all packaged in a cotton muslin pouch, on which I hand drew the little arrows symbol. It all was sealed up in a handmade envelope complete with the "Explorer Society" logo sticker! Obviously, I loooooooved making these! Stay tuned for more party posts soon!

Mama Bird Baby Shower

A few months ago I designed these fun baby shower invitations for the super talented Heather Cook Elliott. A mama bird and egg seemed perfect for the mama-to-be! I really dig how these turned out! I'll be sharing her baby girl, Wren's, birth announcement in the next few weeks too...they are suuuuuuper cool.

Party Time!

So, I can't believe it, but my little Beckett is going to turn 1 in less than a month! We are throwing a big bash to celebrate with close family & friends. I was really excited to design some fun invites to set the tone for the very gentleman-ly day, complete with a felt tie to wrap the invite together. Come back later for some fun photos from the day!

Beckett's Baby Stationery

I've been loving being able to design stationery for all the events so far in Beckett's life. Since I'm not a big cutsie baby animals person, it's been great creating the perfect blend of modern, yet baby friendly designs. Thought I would share my baby shower invitation, Beckett's birth announcement, and his baptism invitation.

Baby Weekend

So this weekend is my baby shower and I am super excited about it. It's only about 2 months away until my due date! Above is my baby shower invitation that I designed. In the coming weeks we will be releasing a whole bunch of shower invitation sets. They are pretty cool.
