Oh man, these invites I designed for Katie and Jim who got hitched back in June were sooooo cute and fun to make! Here's the story...
Katie is from MN and Jim is from IL, but they met in Wisconsin, which is also where they tied the knot. So, they asked me to create a kind of "logo" to tie the invite all together and sum up their love story.
I hand drew the nautical rope and even brushed off my painting skills to create the watercolor bands that wrapped around each invite. I adore the final design, with it's mixture of clean, crisp and modern with a subtle nautical vibe. Congrats to Katie and Jim!
