Happy Halloween!

I was really excited about Beckett's Halloween costume this year (The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters), so I had this idea to design a little card to showcase the awesome-ness of Beckett in his costume. The end result turned out better than I expected, and I laugh every time I look at this card.

Warm & Modern Invites

I had the pleasure of working with Christian and Kim on their wedding invitations. They got hitched in Chicago in the beginning of October. They wanted to keep it simple, clean, and modern with warm browns and oranges, and that sounded just about perfect to me! I really loved how the final invite turned out, complete with a chocolate brown tri-fold and textured ivory paper. Congrats you two!

Discovering Cool Kids Clothes

Before I had Beckett, I thought that all baby clothes were just the basic Carters outfits that were overly cutsie and made me wanna barf. But I have been so excited to find that a lot of my favorite stores have super rad kids clothing lines-my two favorites being H&M Kids Collection and American Apparel for Kids. H&M kids is especially cool because it's so affordable, and their little boy outfits are so freakishly cute, I can't stand it. It's a perfect combination of simple, a little old school, and hip.

Mama Bird Baby Shower

A few months ago I designed these fun baby shower invitations for the super talented Heather Cook Elliott. A mama bird and egg seemed perfect for the mama-to-be! I really dig how these turned out! I'll be sharing her baby girl, Wren's, birth announcement in the next few weeks too...they are suuuuuuper cool.
