Where our cards live

Some of the most awesome stores carry our cards, and one of the newest is 'Wildcard' in Pittsburgh. I recently saw some photos of the store for the first time (because it just opened in October), and I was blown away! The store looks amazing! If you are in the Pittsburgh area, definitely check it out!

Broken Lizard

I am so excited to see the comedy group Broken Lizard tonight! I love those guys and still reminisce about the amazing day when I actually met Farva. Plus, the baby in my belly has been cooperating with me for the past week, so now I can actually enjoy show without the fear of vomiting. Have a happy weekend!

Back from vacation and it's so good to be home! We're busier than ever here at Cracked Designs and are happy to announce that our cards will be available at Paper Source this Valentines Day! It is our first national store, and we are totally stoked about it. But anyways...here are some pictures from our fun filled trip down Route 66. I have a ton more pictures, so more are to come!

Roadside America

So Adam and I leave for our Route 66 roadtrip out to the Grand Canyon this Friday. We are so stoked. I've been doing a lot of research on the most amazing website ever: roadside america. If you haven't visited Roadsideamerica.com, then you are missing out. It is hilarious. We've found some great stuff to check out along the way, including the UFO museum in Roswell, NM and the museum of barb wire. ah yes, this will be the greatest trip ever!

500 Days

I saw 500 days of summer a few weeks ago and totally loved it. I also love the artwork for the movie and how illustrative the movie itself was. Oh yeah, and I love Zooey Deschanel, a lot.

Adam and I had been planning a big trip on historic highway route 66 for next May...but since we will have a newborn then, we had to move up our trip for this October! For those who don't know, Route 66 starts in Chicago and stretches through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and ends in Santa Monica, California. We've always wanted to travel Route 66, so we are totally stoked. Planning this trip is really tricky, since a lot of the old highway is now gone, so we have lots to do before we leave in October. At least we've already booked our night stay at the Wigwam Hotel in Arizona. Heck yes.

In 3-D

I had a long and morning sickness filled week...so I am looking forward to enjoying a super cool 3-D outdoor movie tonight on the lakefront. Should be rad!

So it is true...there is a baby on the way! I am pregnant and will be expecting a baby in May. We are pretty stoked about it. Now I can shop for cool baby stuff, especially from Threadless. They have some pretty awesome onesies so our baby is sure to be the coolest!

Renegade Chicago was amazing this year! We had such a great time and met lots of swell folks. It's always awesome to hear when people have seen our cards in stores or online. Date Night

I apologize for my lack of posting lately. We here at CD have beyond busy....with wedding orders, card orders...oh my! Anyways, I recently became obsessed with the Etsy shop Found Paper Co. They have the coolest stuff! I recently bought some of their vintage maps....oooooh are they nice!

Keg Killah

Phew, it has been a great and super busy week! It started with the amazing Storque interview on Etsy and ended with me fulfilling my life-long dream of killing the keg at the Wisconsin State Fair. Oh yes, it's true my friends. If you kill the keg, you get the sweetest shirt ever. Adam and I have dreamed about one day killing the keg, and yesterday it happened. Ah, dreams do come true.

To celebrate my successful week on Etsy, I am off to celebrate by hopefully killing another keg with lots of good friends. Have a happy weekend!
