Renegade Chicago

Holy frack do I love the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago! I've been apart of it for the past 2 years, but since this is the 'year of the baby', I unfortunately won't be able to participate this year. I'm starting to get really sad about it since every year so many awesome vendors come out of the woodwork, and I love seeing all the cool stuff. It looks like it will be another great year, with some of my favorites like, Gnome Enterprises, Dude and Chick, and La Familia Green to just name a few. I hope to be back out on the craft fair scene next year!

I just found this cool shop on Etsy, Apericots, that has tons of totally awesome baby onesies. Now that I'm in full mom swing, I love dressing Beckett in cool onesies versus the boring everyday Carter's onesies.

We're Back

Maternity Leave & Real Simple Magazine!

Well I am 2 weeks away from my due date and am feeling very pregnant and ready to meet my baby! I am currently on maternity leave, but am still taking store and wedding orders for June or later. Feel free to shoot me an email!

Our Etsy shop is currently closed, but we will be opening it back up very soon and selling only our US Journey Journal. The Journey Journal will be featured in the summer issue of Real Simple magazine, so we want to make sure that all the awesome Real Simple readers can get their hands on it!! We will be opening up the rest of the shop (cards, invites and such) up at the end of May/early June.

I will be back in the coming weeks with pics of the newest member of Cracked Designs, so until then...

Another Louie!

Just found out over the weekend that we are nominated for another International Greeting Card Award (aka 'Louie Award'), which recognizes the best greeting cards in several different categories and price ranges. Our 'Bun in the Oven' card is nominated in the Pregnancy/Baby, $3.50 and under category. Hooray!

Rad Album Art + Busy-ness

Well I am one month away from taking my maternity leave. The belly is getting bigger every day, which also means I am getting more and more uncomfortable! On top of that we have been busier than ever here at Cracked Designs, so much so that I can't accept anymore summer weddings or store orders! I'm a tired preggo.

But to sooth my stressed out soul, I have been way into 'Broken Bells' a new collaboration between the lead singer of the Shins and Danger Mouse. Their album cover art is totally rad-tastic as well. You should check it out.

PS: I will been closing down my Etsy shop by the end of this month, which is a little earlier than originally planned. : (
